LUCA MAZZON
Clinical & Human Performance Psychologist, Orchestra Musician, Psychotherapist CBT in formation
I am Luca Mazzon, a clinical and performance psychologist with an international career as a professional musician. I have dedicated my life to exploring the connection between music, human performance, and psychology, specializing in optimizing the mental performance of artists and athletes. My journey has led me to work both in the clinical field and in the performing arts, applying advanced mental coaching strategies to help my clients achieve their maximum potential under pressure or support them through their daily challenges.

ON STAGE
Before becoming a psychologist, I built a solid career as a professional flutist. I studied at prestigious institutions such as the Conservatory in Italy and earned a Master’s degree in Music in Germany. I had the opportunity to perform in some of the world’s most renowned theatres, including the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House in Muscat, and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, playing at major festivals like the Sanremo Festival. I immersed myself in the unique challenges of tours, auditions, competitions, and concerts that the performing arts world presents: from stage fright to maintaining focus in highly competitive environments.
Thanks to these experiences, I developed a deep understanding of the psychological dynamics that influence musicians and artists' success.

Specialization in Performance Psychology
Having personally faced the mental challenges that accompany a musician’s career, I decided to pursue a new training path, obtaining a Master’s in Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology and specializing in sports and performance psychology. I achieved certifications in clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, and coaching, and today I help individuals develop effective mental strategies to enhance their performance under pressure.
In my clinical work, I have collaborated as a neuropsychologist in a hospital and a rehabilitation clinic in Germany, providing personalized psychological consultations, as well as group therapy sessions and seminars on pain or stress management. I also engage in training and coaching for institutions and organizations, teaching stress management techniques and performance enhancement strategies for singers, instrumentalists, and many others.
PSYCHOLOGY & MENTAL HEALTH
My approach is multidisciplinary, combining clinical psychology techniques with the specific needs of musicians, artists and athletes. Thanks to my direct experience in performing arts and music, I can support individuals with emotional and/or interpersonal difficulties, as well as musicians, singers, dancers, actors, and athletes facing various personal, relational, and sexual challenges, such as:
